A Crypton's level is representative of its current ability and talents, in other words, its current potential. A Crypton's stats and skills both affect its overall level and as you train your Crypton its level will slowly increase.

A Crypton's aptitude represents its innate ability and strengths. One can think of this as a Cryptons possible potential.
Being innate there is no method or way for an owner to increase their Crypton's aptitude.

Higher aptitudes are represented by more elaborate marks/icons.

A Crypton's age is indicative of its progress through life. Training your Crypton once will age it by one month, racing it will increase it by two months. Each age has an upper limit to how much a Crypton can raise its stats, think of it as a stat ceiling. As a Crypton ages its stat ceiling will raise which in turn allows the Crypton to progress further in ability. 8 Years old is considered the peak of a Cryptons life; this is the time when a Crypton can reach its max potential. Keep in mind though, once a Crypton has passed its peak its stat ceiling will slowly decrease meaning its potential will also decrease. Crypton who reach age ten or beyond may no longer train to increase their stats.

Crypton are divided up into four different leagues depending on how much prize money (Coink) they have obtained. Crypton will receive bonuses to their training efficiency (the chance of Crypton getting better training results) based upon which league they are assigned to. Once a Crypton has reached age ten they will be assigned into the Veteran league and will no longer be able to train in the Gym.

League Breakdown:
Rookie: Starting League
Semi-Pro: 1000 ~ 2599 Coink
Pro: 2600+ Coink
Veteran: Crypton will advance to Veteran once they reach age 10 regardless of their Coink pool.

Energy is the force that drives Crypton. Particiapting in races or training in the Gym will both lower your Crypton's Energy reserves. Crypton who are registered to the gym will rejuvenate 1 Energy every minute.

Speed will help a Crypton run faster during straightaways and various speed oriented obstacles. The more stars a Crypton has assigned to a certain stat the easier it is for it to train in that specific trait.

Power will help a Crypton run faster during curves and various power oriented obstacles. The more stars a Crypton has assigned to a certain stat the easier it is for it to train in that specific trait.。

Stamina will help a Crypton run faster in the last areas of a race. It will also help when faced with stamina oriented obstacles. The more stars a Crypton has assigned to a certain stat the easier it is for it to train in that specific trait.

A skill's Fire Rate determines the likelihood that it will actually go off when its conditions are met. Even if you have a rather powerful skill, it will be harder to reap its benefits while it has a low Firing Rate.

High percentage Skill Fire Rates are born from Crypton parents who have high Skill Firing Rates and short Cool Times.

Keep in mind that it is also possible to raise your Crypton's Skill Fire Rate after birth as well.

Crypton have skills in accordance with their [Head Accessories], [Body Accessories], and [Foot Accessories] traits. When a skill's conditions are met during a race it will have a chance to occur depending on its Skill Fire Rate. [Special] and [Unique] Crypton have inherit skills regardless of their [Head Accessories], [Body Accessories], and [Foot Accessories] traits.

Skills are a huge part of Gran Ton Rismo and will play a large role in who wins and loses races.

Start dashes are small boosts that occur when a race's start buzzer sounds. Gen 0 Crypton inherently have these dashes, however, first generation Crypton and higher will have a small chance that a start dash will occur for them each race.

When Crypton win race finals or achieve other types of achievements they will receive [EX Legacies].
Crypton will receive bonuses to their stats and other abilities based each Legacy's effect.
Crypton also have a chance to pass these bonuses down to their offspring based on their Cool Time rating.
